But surely it couldn't be any worse than your current existence?

Oh yes, it could be much, much worse. Living in illusion is akin to
insanity.

Not at all. An chemically induced feeling of wellbeing or even
having a drunken lark are just nice, but one wouldnt expect you
to understand that. You probably believe your current chemical
balance to be a perfect perception of reality and its state vital
to maintain. I say ******** to that.

What happens to the chip's soul when you eat it/them? Does it merge
into your soul, or does it die and reincarnate into another chip (or
perhaps a potato not yet advanced enough to be a chip)?

First you need to ask yourself when an eaten chip ceases to be a
chip. Pondering this point let to unpleasant thoughts about the
need for souls in areas where a soul shouldn't have to go.

Good for you! I have heard they can really mess you up!

They certainly seem to mess a lot of people up.

Mixi doesn't own an irony detection meter.

I don't find any distortion of reality to be enjoyable.

You don't understand John. Mixi is normal by Mixi standards. It's the
rest of the world that are the weird ones.

I think that he would take the above statement at face value and would
agree with you. Where did we all go wrong?

Ah, that's just your point of view.

Since people and all living beings exist as individuals, all view and
perceptions are subjective, based on what the individual has observed
and experienced himself. These are what constitute a person's reality.

It is not part of reality.

It creates reality .

Turn it around and you may find it makes more sense, i.e. reality is a
part of metaphysics/metascience, the part that we are able to
comprehend as humans.

And thus we may conclude that you and Mixi are one.
