When is the best time to buy airline tickes price-wise?
For a trip that is the weekend before Thanksgiving in the U.S., will the ticket prices go down any from now? I want to be sure to get an aisle seat but I'd rather pay a little less than the prices I am seeing. Will these be better in June or August or some other time? Or are today's prices to go from LAX to BOS that weekend as good as it gets? Thanks.

In article you write:

The US airline market is an oligopoly, and planes are flying quite full particularly at peak times. If you want to fly at Thanksgiving, buy your ticket now so you can be sure you have one. |
