Vietnam Airlines - Excess Baggage Fees

Next month we will be traveling extensively in Vietnam. For various flight
segments within the country, I am being told the extra baggage charge for
over 20 kilos (econonmy class) is $2 per kilo. Can anyone comment? Thanks

Could be, but why do you worry about such small amounts of money?

Actually, if $2 a kilo is all that is charged, I have no worry. I've just
heard others claim the charges were in the hundreds. I've only checked a
few airlines sites but none of them elaborate about their charges and
probably for good reason. I'm thinking for a one month trip I could be 30
kilos, so $20 extra baggage fees is nothing per segment flown.
