Yangon - Bagan - Mandalay - Shan - Yangon

YANGON-BAGAN-MANDALAY-SHAN-YANGON (15 Days/14 Nights) DAY 01 YANGON ARRIVAL (- , L, D) Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, welcome by our tour guide and transfer to hotel. Lunch at local restaurant. Special evening visit to the massive Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the wonders of the world for its religious significance, artistic beauty and its association with Myanmar culture. Welcome dinner with Myanmar cultural dance. Overnight stay at the hotel DAY 02 YANGON - BAGAN (B, L, D) Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to airport for flight to Bagan. Morning sightseeing includes Nyaung Oo Market; Shwezigon Pagoda., the prototype of later Myanmar stupas; Kyansittha U-min, a tunnel with interesting paintings; Wet-kyi-in, Gubyaukkyi Temple, with fine mural paintings of Jataka scenes; Htilominlo Temple, noted for its plaster carvings and Tharaba Gate, the only remaining gate of 9th Century A.D.Lunch at local restaurant . Afternoon sightseeing includes Archaeological Museum, Ananda Temple; an architectural masterpiece resembling a Greek Cross, Ananda Okkyaung; a brick monastery with 18th Century mural paintings, Thatbyinnyu Temple; the highest temple in Bagan, Dhammayangyi ; a massive temple with the finest brick works , lacquer ware industry ,Mingalazedi; the last pagoda in Bagan dynasty and Shwesandaw Pagoda; specially for the sunset. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel. DAY 03 BAGAN - MINDAT (B, L D) Breakfast at hotel. Morning cross the Ayeyarwaddy River to Kyun Chaung foreshore by Boat (20 minutes boat ride from Bagan). Then proceed to Mindat, the beautiful town of chin State and it is located 4860 feet above Sea Level, by Jeep (7 hours drive from Kyun Chaung). Arrive there in the evening, welcome with the enjoyable Chin Tribal Dance. Dinner and overnight stay in Mindat. (Guest house) *** Lunch and dinner are own provision *** DAY 04 MINDAT - AYE VILLAGE (B, L, D) Breakfast at guest house. Morning sightseeing in Mindat, Chin village, where we can see the beautiful tattooed face of Chin women and their ways of life. Afternoon proceed to Aye village, about 7000 feet above sea level and base of Mount Victoria. Dinner and overnight stay in Aye village. (Guest House) *** Lunch and dinner are own provision *** DAY 05 AYE VILLAGE - MOUNT VICTORIA- KANPATLET (B, L, D) Breakfast at guest house. Morning transfer to 101/2 Miles camp, from Aye village. And then trekking to the summit of Mount Victoria (10018 feet above sea level), on the way pass the Natmataung National Park and observing rare wild mammal, attractive 202 residential birds species including 5 endemic species. And then return to Kanpatlet which is located on the zone of Natmataung National Park. *** Lunch and dinner are own provision *** DAY 06 KANPATLET - BAGAN (B, L, D) Breakfast at guest house. Morning drive back to Bagan cross the Ayeyarwaddy River over the bridge. Lunch . Evening arrive to Bagan. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. DAY 07 BAGAN - MOUNT POPA (B, L , D) Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to Mount Popa, which is Popa National Park (42 km-11/2 hours drive form Bagan), which rises 1518 metre from the flat surroundings. It is a core of an extinct Volcano and believed to be the abode of the legendary "Nats" or the Spirit Gods. Lunch at hotel. The one hour climbing to the summit gives you the fantastic view. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. DAY 08 MOUNT POPA - PINDAYA ( B, L , D) Breakfast at hotel. Morning proceed to Pindaya,(249 km-7 hours drive) east of Bagan. En route enjoy the great scenic beauty of the country side. Lunch at Yin Mar Bin restaurant. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. DAY 09 PINDAYA ( B, L , D) Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit Pindaya stalactite and stalagmite caves in which countless Buddha images of different types and times exist. After that, trekking through the Pindaya mountain range to see the hill tribes, Danu, Pa-O and Palaung, their villages, their daily activities and their cultivation in the farm and tea plantation on the slope of the hill and the process of dry tea making from village of the mountain top, one can enjoy magnificent view over surroundings and return to hotel in the afternoon. Evening visit downtown to observe traditional hand - made paper and umbrella making workshops. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. DAY 10 PINDAYA - INLE LAKE (B, L, D) Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to Inle Lake (92 km, 2 hours drive) from Pindaya, sightseeing to famous for its unique leg-rowers and scenic beauty. Lunch at local restaurant .Tour highlights include Phaung daw Oo Pagoda, wonderful floating garden, floating market, native method of fishing, traditional weaving industry, if the time permits, watch birds roost in the bushes. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. DAY 11 INLE - KYAING TONG ( B, L, D) Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to Heho airport for flight to Kyaing Tong, to see the native of Akha, Lahu and GonShan hill tribes. Lunch at local restaurant. Start sightseeing to the Tomb of Kyaing Tong Saw Bwa, pottery works, an old church and gigantic old tree aged over 200 years. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. DAY 12 KYAING TONG (B, L, D) Breakfast at hotel. Morning excursion to Akha and Lahu villages, see their daily activities, especially their traditional ways of weaving and enjoy the magnificent view of the landscape as well. Lunch at local restaurant . Then return to Kyaing Tong. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. DAY 13 KYAING TONG - YANGOAN (B, L, D) Breakfast at hotel. Morning sightseeing in Kyaing Tong, market (daily market) and Buffalo market outskirts of the town. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon transfer to Kyaing Tong airport for flight to Yangon. Dinner and Overnight stay in Yangon. DAY 14 YANGON ( B, L, D) Breakfast at hotel. Morning sightseeing includes Kabaaye (World Peace) Pagoda; Mahapasana cave; where sixth Buddhist synod took place, Chaukhtatkyi; a colossal reclining Buddha Image, Karaweik hall ; Royal Barge on the Royal Lake and National Museum.Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon sightseeing includes Bogyoke Aung San market; Myanmar famous Gems and Jewellery sales center, Sule Pagoda; in the city center, Botataung Pagoda and Nanthida jetty to see river life on the Yangon river. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. DAY 15 YANGON DEPARTURE (B,L, -) Breakfast at hotel. Morning shopping and lunch. After lunch, leisure at hotel. Evening transfer to Yangon airport for departure by flight.
