Tour Programme for 16 Days/ 15 Nights & Prices
Day 1: Morning, arrival at Yangon Airport and transfer to hotel. Visit
Yangon City: Sule Pagoda, Botataung Pagoda, Chaukhtetgyi Pagoda and colonial
center. Evening, visit to Shwedagon Pagoda and enjoy the panoramic sunset of
Yangon at Shwedagon Pagoda. Stay overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Accommodation: Summit Park View Hotel ***

Day 2: Morning, transfer to airport for flight to Mandalay. Visit the old
capital of Myanmar, Amarapura: Mahagandayon Monastery and U Bein Bridge.
Transfer to hotel and visit Mandalay City: Mahamuni Pagoda, Kuthodaw Pagoda,
Shwenandaw Monastery, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda and Mandalay Hill. Stay overnight
at hotel in Mandalay. Accommodation: Emerald Land Inn ***

Day 3: After breakfast, visit to Zey-Cho Market of Mandalay and excursion to
Mingun across the Ayeyarwaddy River. Visit Mingun Bell, Myatheintan Pagoda
and the huge unfinished pagoda on the bank of Mingun. Return to Mandalay by
boat and visit to the tapestry factory and gold-leaf factory of Mandalay.
Stay overnight at hotel in Mandalay. Accommodation: Emerald Land Inn ***

Day 4: After breakfast, visit to Ava, the old capital of Myanmar and
continue to excursion to Sagaing. Visit Kaungmudaw Pagoda and Sagaing Hills.
Afternoon, continue to Monywa by road and stay overnight at hotel in Monywa.
Accommodation: Monywa Hotel **

Day 5: After breakfast, visit to a natural cave Po Win Taung, across the
Chin Dwin River. Afternoon, visit the pagodas of Monywa and return to
Mandalay. Arrive in Mandalay in the evening and stay overnight at hotel in
Mandalay. Accommodation: Emerald Land Inn ***

Day 6: Early morning, transfer to jetty for boat to Bagan. The whole day on
board and possibility for sightseeing to the beautiful riversides of famous
Ayeyarwaddy River. Evening, arrive in Bagan and transfer to hotel. Stay
overnight at hotel in Bagan. Accommodation: Kumudra Hotel ***

Day 7: Morning, visit the old temples and pagodas in Bagan Archaeological
Region: Thetbenyu, Gubyaukgyi, Dhamayangyi, Sulamani, Lawkananda and Bupaya.
Evening, enjoy the famous Bagan Sunset at Shwesandaw Pagoda. Stay overnight
at hotel in Bagan. Accommodation: Kumudra Hotel ***

Day 8: After breakfast, visit to the local market at Nyaung U. Continue to
visit the old temples and pagodas of Bagan: Shwezigon, Ananda, Nanpaya and
Manuha, etc… Afternoon, visit to the lacquer ware factory, which is the most
famous hand-made product of Bagan. Sunset at Tayokepyay Pagoda. Stay
overnight at hotel in Bagan. Accommodation: Kumudra Hotel ***

Day 9: After breakfast, excursion to Sale and visit the monastery of Sale
which is built with teak and famous for its fine wood-curving and painting.
Continue to Mount Popa and visit Mount Popa, which is well known for the
traditional guardian spirits (Nats). Stay overnight in hotel at Mount Popa.
Accommodation: Popa Mountain Resort ****

Day 10: Morning, continue to Kalaw by road, and en route visit Meiktila and
the local villages. Evening arrival in Kalaw and stay overnight at hotel in
Kalaw. Accommodation: Pine Hill Resort Hotel **

Day 11: After breakfast, take a trekking to the local villages of Pa O and
Pa Laung near Kalaw where beautifully dressed hill tribes can be seen. The
whole day trekking and stay overnight at local village. Accommodation:
Simple Guest-house at local village

Day 12: After breakfast at local village, continue the trekking to local
villages of hill tribes and return to Kalaw. Afternoon, road to Pindaya.
Visit local markets along the road and arrive to Pindaya. Stay overnight at
hotel in Pindaya. Accommodation: Conqueror Hotel **

Day 13: Morning, visit Pindaya Cave staffed with 8000 Buddha Images and
visit to a workshop of hand made paper-umbrella for monks. Afternoon,
continue by car to Inle Lake and visit the floating gardens and villages
where amazing leg-rowers can be seen. Stay overnight at hotel.
Accommodation: Nandawun Hotel **

Day 14: After breakfast, visit the local market of Inle Lake and also visit
Phaung-Daw-Oo Pagoda and Nge-Phe-Chaung Monastery. Afternoon, visit to the
silk hand-weaving factory of Inle Lake. Evening, enjoy the beautiful sunset
in Inle Lake and stay overnight at hotel. Accommodation: Nandawun Hotel **

Day 15: Morning, transfer to Heho Airport and return flight to Yangon.
Transfer to hotel, and afternoon take a walk in China Town and City Centre.
Stay overnight at hotel in Yangon. Accommodation: Summit Park View Hotel ***

Day 16: Morning, visit National Museum and afternoon visit to Bogyoke
Market. Evening, transfer to Yangon Airport for departure flight.
