NCL AMERICA TO HOST GALA FUNDRAISER
CRUISE IN HAWAI`I

Charity cruise is the third for NCL in Hawai`i following Norwegian

HONOLULU
NCL America announced today that it will hold an overnight
fund-raising cruise on July 22, 2005 to benefit three local charities.
The cruise is part of the inaugural festivities for the arrival of the

U.S.-flagged cruise ship in nearly 50 years and showcases a “Best of

All ticket revenue from the cruise will benefit Child & Family

Children’s Miracle Network. NCL America will donate the use of the
ship and all food and beverage services and amenities for the cruise.

This is the third charity cruise in Hawai‘i sponsored by NCL.
“Our first two cruises raised more than half a million dollars for
local charities,” said Robert Kritzman, NCL's executive vice president
and managing director of Hawai`i Operations. “Hawai`i is our home and
we are proud to partner with these organizations, which make such an
important contribution to our community. We look forward to continuing
and growing our partnership with them.”

Guests on the charity cruise will enjoy a full evening and morning of
culinary delights with Pride of America’s eight different restaurants
as well as a sail away cocktail party, live entertainment and a comedy

children.

The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement (CNHA) seeks to support
the advancement of Native Hawaiians through empowerment and
informational activities. CNHA provides programs and services that

building and partnerships among organizations.

Kapi‘olani Children’s Miracle Network is committed to developing and
promoting state-of-the-art health-care services and programs dedicated
to enhancing the health and well-being of the people of Hawai‘i, the
Pacific Basin and Pacific Rim.

Pride of America will be based year round in Hawai`i beginning July
23, 2005. She joins NCL America’s first U.S.-flagged ship, Pride of
Aloha, which began sailing seven-day round-trip Hawaii voyages last
July.

NCL America is a brand under NCL Corporation ("NCL"), an innovative
cruise company headquartered in Miami, Florida, with a fleet of 14
ships in service and under construction. The corporation oversees the
operations of Norwegian Cruise Line, NCL America, and Orient Lines. On
July 4, 2004, NCL made U.S. maritime history when it introduced the
reflagged Pride of Aloha, the first modern U.S.-flagged cruise ship in
nearly 50 years. The 2,002 passenger ship is 100% U.S.-crewed, and
sails year-round in Hawai`i under the NCL America brand alongside
Norwegian Wind from sister brand, Norwegian Cruise Line. The company
is currently building three ships, including two more for the NCL
America brand in Hawai`i - Pride of America (delivery in June, 2005)
and Pride of Hawai`i (delivery in April 2006). Norwegian Jewel will
join the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet in August 2005.
