Default NZ weather question

Hi!

Let me first thank to all that answered my previous posting about
visiting NZ.

I will be there by mid January 2005 and I don't like the heat at
all. I've seen in a travel book that temperatures in Auckland
do not get that high, about 75F.

My main problem is that I can't sleep in a hot and humid
night. Since I will be visiting the North Island (Auckland,
Wellington and the east coast), I would like to know if I
should make arrangement for an air-conditioned room.

Thanks in advance for your input.
