Must do's in Perth

Spending 10 days in Perth after attending a 21st party of a friend in April
2004. Will have a hire car for a few days and the rest public transport.

Any must-see's around Perth. Mainly just checking out the local lifestyle and
get a feel for the people over there.

Being from Melbourne, you just don't hear much about Perth at all.

Nice eating places at reasonable prices ? Asian food places ?

Take a car and go to Margaret River area.

MR was great 20 years ago, but is turing into Kuta Beach now.
Keep driving! There are lots of nice places on the south-west coast and
forrests.

TRy sailing on the Swan. Surfcat hire in south perth. Look out for dolphins.
Fremantle , northbridge.
Scuba diving at Rottnest.

And dont forget the #1 must see: London Court.
