Default Carnival and Holland America also change smoking policies

I don't think most smokers care whether they ruin someone else's air

April. If smoking is still allowed on the balcony, she will only smoke
with our cabin door shut and, if someone is on their balcony on either
side of us, she will go somewhere where no one is around.

As long as smoking is allowed on the balconies I don't think that it is
the smokers fault. The cruise line is causing the issues by permitting
it.

I agree. The best night in the casino on FOTS this past May was
smoke-free night. I swear there were more people in there than any other
night. But it's sort of like reclining seats on airplanes. Yes, you
have the right to recline, but I think it's rude to have your seat in
someone else's lap.

I really doubt most would care.

Bill

A woman was puffing away at the bus stop on our street this evening and she
was leaving a large pile of butts. No care about the mess.

What about the people who apparently buy cars without ash trays and feel
the need to toss their butts out their car windows? Or people who just
drop them on the ground when going into a store?

Sorry for continuing the off-topic rant.

Like my smoker co-worker who has not worked for three months now
because he has to take oxygen due to diminished lung capacity from
years of smoking.

Although I feel bad he is ill I don't feel bad about taking his job
since he put himself in that situation.

Just keep away from the casino. It's not like the slot machines and
tables waft through the air.
