Hotel recommendation for Dublin?
Can anyone recommend an afordable hotel in downtown Dublin to stay for a
few days in mid February? I've been looking around at hotels.com, and it appears that Best Western can be had for somewhat under 100 EUR/night. Has anyone stayed with any of their hotels in Dublin? Recommendations of (Irish?) web sites for good online prices would also be welcome. -- Georg Schwarz http://home.pages.de/~schwarz/ +49 177 8811442 |

Hotel recommendation for Dublin?
Blooms Hotel is in the middle of Temple Bar - the lively, bar and
resturant area of Dublin. I went there last February for my hen weekend. It was a very comfortable and reasonably priced hotel (approx £50 per person, per night). I booked it through www.superbreaks.com |

I'm partial to Bewleys hotel in Ballsbridge http://www.bewleyshotels.com/ball_index.asp - a short bus or Dart ride from the city - its about eur90 You could also try Jurys Inns - www.jurysinns.com (I think) - they have one in Christchurch which is quite central - rates vary . If possible (and if thats not your cup of tea) you should steer clear of hotels in the Temple Bar district - the place is a common stopoff for Hen & Stag night parties ... |
