Philadelphia In-Town Hotels?
In town, what is the walk like from the Comfort Inn on Columbus to the
Sheraton Society Hill....from tripadvisor looks like the Comfort would be a better expenditure of my funds (not to mention I could rack up points) but my meeting is at the Sheraton. Looks to be less than a mile so no problem there but can't tell if its walkable, fairly major road, don't know if there are sidewalks or not..... Thanks. |

That walk is roughly half a mile and its through a nice neighborhood. Definitely walkable; I have done it many times. |

For future use if the O.P. wants to splurge a bit - Embassy Suites is overlooking what some call Museum Mile. The Franklin Institute, Science Museum, Children's Museum, Rodan Museum are all within walking distance of the Embassy Suites. I stayed there a while ago and booked through Travel Now! I got a weekend special for $90.00 per night. The included Sunday Brunch at the restaurant next door is excellent. -- ____ Brian M.
