Hotel near Charles deGaulle airport ??

Can anyone recommend an hotel near CdG? (Traveling on a budget.)
We're arriving at 12:30pm the last day of the Tour de France. We want to
be able to dump our luggage and get to Paris fast. (We're traveling with
large bike cases, and leaving the next day, so going into Paris with
luggage is not an option.)

Novotel is AT the airport itself. Get your reservations early (now!)
as it is typically filled.

we really liked the Novotel because it sits literally atop the RER
station and so if very convenient access to the airport terminals AND
the train into town.

In addition to Novotel you might check the Ibis Hotel at the
airport.It's advantage is that it's next to the the Metro line to
Paris.

There is no Metro at CDG. There is the RER line B train station that will
get you into Paris where you can transfer to the Metro lines. Both the
Novotel and Ibis are walking distance to the RER station.

I don't think the Metro goes to CDG -- you have to take the RER which
ends in the lobby of the Novotel
