Default calgary, sandman hotel?

Has anyone stayed at the Sandman Hotel in Calgary? It was recommended
to us as a reasonably priced, standard hotel? Before making
reservations, I thought I'd check and see what others have to say.

Thanks, Steve

Steve,

If it is the Sandman out by the Canada Olympic Park (at the far West end
of town), I stayed there a year ago. It is a standard hotel, a step up
from "enonomy" hotels, but nothing to shout about. I thought it was a
little pricey for what it offered, though. But, they may have raised
rates for the time I was there, since there were big races across the
street at the bobsled track and everyone was trying to get in at this
hotel or the Four Points next door.

No, it's amazing. Not one person has ever stayed there.
