Default Bangkok - Chao Praya

I would like to see places of interest in BKKwith the boat on Chao Praya
River .
I'm sure most of you here have done this before.
How much will a day pass cost for hop on- hop out from point to point?
Any useful tips for this first timer appriciated?

Cheers
Beu-blue

I don't know. However, single tickets are so cheap (5-10 bahts) that it
doesn't ruin anyone's budget to use them.

There's a tourist one called the Chao Praya Express (I think - we have
tickets stuck into our daughter's travel diary but I don't want to wake her
up). It costs 75bt for the day and you can hop on and off where you like.
There is an English language commentary, which is interesting. We saw lots.
You can get connecting boats to other things like Wat Arun, the Royal Barge
Museum (surprisingly interesting, in spite of its name) and other tourist
things. A great way to spend the day.

Here is a link you might find useful:

In addition to the tourist boat, you can also take the regular
(express) boat for about 10 baht.
