Default Southern NH, western MA lodging suggestions

We are planning to spend 4-5 days touring southern New Hampshire and
western Massachusetts prior to a conference in Boston. This portion of
the trip is likely to be spent outside of the big cities. Does anyone
have lodging suggestions to share, in the range of $100 per room per night.

Thanks for any personal recommendations you have to share.
