Tuesday March 16, 10:28 AM Emirates Airlines will ramp up its flight
schedule to Australia from November, offering double services four
days a week between Dubai and Sydney.

The company said twice-daily flights between the two cities would be
available seven days a week from March next year.

Emirates, which has been providing a non-stop daily service between
Dubai and Sydney since December, also has daily services to Brisbane,
Melbourne and Perth.

"All these flights have outperformed expectations, particularly the
Sydney services, and the new flights will help to meet the current
demand," a company statement said.

The airline will be operating six new services to Melbourne from
August, as previously announced, and with the new twice-daily services
to Sydney, will offer 41 flights per week between Australia and the
Gulf region by March next year.

"We are very grateful to the government of Australia for granting us
the extra flights and appreciate the support of Mr John Anderson,
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Transport," Emirates chairman
HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum said. ####
