Luxor resurant - Tutankhamen resturant.

The Lonely Planet guide suggested the Tutankhamen food joint , Luxor on
the west bank.
My experience was quite bad. Not only was the food not good they tried
to charge me 7EL
for a bottled water. Else where it ranges from 3LE to 4LE in comparable
food joints. After haggling they dropped the price to 4LE.

I also found the "Africa resturant" (close to the boat landings) very
nice. Not only were the food better , better priced , no haggling and
they charged 3LE for water.

Very strange indeed. I always eat there when in Luxor, and I think it's the
best food I ever had (the chicken curry that is, with banana, apple and
coconut).
