that's the limit, what a crap airline.

Maybe literally! What happens if a needly passenger only has U.S. or UK
coins? Or Swiss Francs? Will there be flight attendant parked at the
door to supply coins in the correct currency?

There will be a Credit Card swipe mechanism on the door. €5 or $6 or £4.

For my last trip with Ryan, Stockholm-Paris (NYO-BVA) i paid 611 SEK
(US$68) but for the return with Air baltic (CDG-ARN) i paid 1704 (US
$189) leaving US$ 121 for other things.

Like for taxi rides to Nyköping (and further to Skavsta) and from Beauvais
to Paris?

No. Bus.
But for what odd reason should a taxi trip go through Nyköping and not
directly to NYO ?

That was my first thought when I heard that. People are not all going
to have the right coins.

Correct, it's not April 1, but it's big free advertising for the airline.

Not particularly good advertising though. They'll now be forever etched in my
memory as the airline where there's possibly going to be a risk of nearby
passengers wetting themselves, or worse, because they can't or don't want to
pay to use the toilets.

With that in mind, I think I'll travel with someone else, thanks.

And maybe , next month they'll announce they've changed their month thus
receiving more ad.

Backing down from that policy isn't as newsworthy. It won't reach half as
many people...

Nyköping can reside directly en route.

Yes, but it will enable them to suggest it again next April 1st

They're clean at least, and I wouldn't want to tangle with the fearsome
lady who operates the washroom on Platform 1 of the Centraal Station in
Amsterdam.

Oh, those elderly attendants have high cleaniness standards, I agree.
UNattended toilets in other countries have been the filthy ones.

Alan S --don't you think that this is some kind of a strategy ploy by Ryan
Air? Of course they have no intent to charge for the inflight restrooms.
There is something else behind this announcement. Instead of everyone doing
the knee-jerk reaction, we ought to be finding out what he really intends.
Perhaps it's government aid or less taxation. Whatever it is, it's
commercial in base.

And, naturally, they're getting tons of free advertising out of this. In a
week or so, they'll just retract their statement.
