Here is what is really sad. I started this thread in an attempt to get
information, and I did.

Karen (CupCaked) expressed honest opinions about her QM2 experience and I
disagreed with some of what she said, and I had a legitimate gripe from Tom
where I may have misunderstood what he said.

It is what rec.travel.cruises is really about, and exchange of views.

That Tom disagrees with me or I disagree with Karen is part of the give and
take of any public forum. When it is done we will go to the next question and
deal with it accordingly.

Karen is also welcome to her opinion that it is time for the thread to end.
The Johnny Rocket thread concerning the eatery on whatever ship it was on went
on for over a month. Not everyone sits here day in and day out.

The bottom line is that any thread ends when nobody enters a followup.

I didn't disagree with you. Nor did I disagree with Karen. I just voiced
the perspective that each needs to make his own decision based on their
particular circumstances.

I just didn't want people making their own interpretations of what I was
saying.

Where I did take concern was when I tried offering potential scenarios of
why one person might feel differently than another in terms of how much risk
they might accept, and people assumed that I was offering judgements rather
than scenarios.
