Default QM 2 Cancels Port Everglades Stop!

Very interesting ... sounds more like
"litigation/arbitration/settlement" is in process regarding damages
occurring during the QM2's recent disastrous departure!

There is nothing to indicate that in the story. The reason given is the
slower speed of the ship due to the damage to the propulsion unit
requires skipping Ft. Lauderdale in order to reach New York on time. I
believe that explanation.
