Default Newfoundland & Labrador Folk Festival schedule

The 38th Annual Newfoundland & Labrador Folk Festival will
be held in Bowring Park in St. John's, Newfoundland
from August 8--10, 2014. (In 2015 it will return to
its usual home in Bannerman Park.)

The festival web page is http://www.nlfolk.com/fest2014/
and the main stage schedule is up at
http://nlfolk.com/fest2014/schedule/ .
I think bios of performers will be added soona
as will schedules for the smaller stages.

This year the best known act from outside Newfoundland
is Gord Downie who will headline the Saturday night.
Kevin Burke and Basia Bulat are also well known
performers from outside Newfoundland. Also there
are many excellent local performers.

Weekend passes are $100 Canadian (in advance) for
adults, $75 for youth (13--18) and seniors (65+),
and children 12 and under are free.

The bios are already up, you can click on most
names in the online schedule, or on pictures
on the tickets subpage.
