Justice was served and provided by the good people of Iraq around 10 PM EST.
They hanged this mass murderer until he was dead as directed by the judge
and jury that tried him. Good riddance to a real monster and congratulations
to the people of Iraq.

Sure. In the 1980s Saddam was praised by President Reagan and
Rumsfeld. Democrats who criticized his bloodthirsty ways were vilified
as traitors. Then when he failed to follow instructions and murdered
the wrong people, he became a "monster". Saddam never changed.

Conservative hypocrisy is stunning.

It is a total shame, that we can't execute criminals in this country, within
30 days and after only one appeal. There is a lot to learn from the Iraq
justice system.

A lot of people have been set free from death row in recent years by
better investigative techniques including DNA. They would have been
put to death under your scenario.

That was in the past. Today, they wouldn't even be arrested unless the DNA
matched. Then, the jerk can't claim he didn't do it. Why should taxpayers
foot the bill for meals, medical etc for some guy, while he spends 10-12
years with one appeal after another? The question..."did he receive a fair
trial" can be answered with just one appeal. Who cares if his mommy dropped
him on his head, when he was 3?

No document promises ANYONE a risk free society. A few mistakes does not
mean capital punishment is wrong. It simply means anything done by humans
can result in mistakes.
