Default NCL DAWN - Home Today

It was such a pleasure to get off the DAWN collect our luggage and
only be 1 hour from home and unpacking. It was so great to see some of
the other past cruisers in Orlando at Universal as well.
I decided against posting a review of my impression of this ship.
Not for any one specific reason but just because I was not overly
impressed with NCL. There was no "WOW" factor at any point during the
cruise. I am affraid that alone would put a very negative spin on the
review. I had a wonderful time and as George said a few days ago..."a
bad day at sea beats a good day at work anytime!" I Fully agree with
that.
I will say that one member of of group did have their cabin
attendants tip removed and NCL would not do it unless they spoke to a
higher up and then place the complaint in writing. Finally the tip was
removed (2 days later) for the week. For this reason alone I am
reconsidering my opinion on the subject of automatic tipping. I have
been all for it but NCL does make it difficult to have them altered - if
necessary.
On another subject: Self service laundry. Was always under the
impression the DAWN didn't have self service laundry. THEY DO - best
part of all - They are FREE!!! Front load washer and dryers with irons
and ironing boards. all in front of cabins X120 (9120 on my deck). I
believe 5 deck have these. That was a nice surprise.
Welcome home everyone!! Hope everyone had an easy trip
home....once we finally got off the ship. Don't know about anyone else
but people were getting a little impatient on my deck once it hit 11 AM.
Then by 11:15 AM I thought for sure we were going to get lunch as well.
Oh well.

OK Rick...inquiring minds want to know what happened to cause the gratuity
to be pulled off the onboard account...
