School vacation in Argentina and Chile

I plan a trip to Patagonia and I prefer to do it after the school
vacation ends, so the area will be less crowded, but I only have a
vague idea about the dates, like December through February are the
busiest months.
Do you have a more precise date when the school vacation ends?

School vacations last from the middle of December until the beginning
of March. Take into account that in the Southern Hemisphere this is
Summer. Winter holidays last two weeks in mid July. In some mountain
regions in several Andean provinces, classes begin in September and
end in May, so there holidays are more alike the Northern
Hemisphere's.
