Default Indian Heritage and Culture - Kolkata Image Maker

KIM
(Kolkata Image Maker)

KIM presents the vista of India in its myriad form and character
through diversified and divers flora and fauna through writings of
articles and photos. This Country is mystique and mysterious. The
people are as colorful and vibrant in their daily life, religious
performances, traditions, and heritage as their landscape, their
mountains, the desert, the rivers, the beaches, their agriculture,
their live stock, as also the wild animals.

KIM presents through its stock of color slides numbering almost a
hundred thousand the color spectrum of the land – across the
country. Also KIM presents the life style of the people through their
divergent religion and religious practices as manifested in their
ceremonial dresses and performances. The seasonal changes and the
variations in Nature are equally marked, recorded in color slides.
While the sadhu at Ganga Sagar at the confluence of the Bay of Bengal
or the Ghats of Beneras or at Hardwar or the mendicant at Gangotri are
representative in character, the animal assembly at Rajasthan Desert
at Pushkar or the change of umbrellas by Caparisoned Elephants at
Trichur Festival or the snake boat race of Aleppy in Kerala are unique
of their kinds.

What KIM does is the verbatim representation of life in spontaneity
through camera. Also the Temples dating back from the B.C. era at
Ashokan times to the days of the Hoyasala Kings at Karnataka or
Vijayanagar Kingdom with the Hindu Vastu Shastra Architecture and
Sculpture depicting the cultural ethos of the people are in stock.

India is an Anthropological Laboratory. The Tribal people are unique
in their life style and religious practices as also dress codes be it
in Central or North-Eastern India. KIM has the unique stock of these
people as also the vanishing tribals of Andamans and Nicobar group of
Islands.

KIM presents these bio-diversities in details.
