An interesting thought struck me while checking exchange values
today. The Australian and Canadian cents and the Swiss cent(ime)
are all worth approximately 1 Japanese yen.

As is 1/100th of the Tunisian Dinar and, not far away, the
Turkish Lira.

Your point? Apart from the recent growth in our dollar?

They should all have the same rate of exchange against the Euro, but haven't?

Interesting web-site, thanks.

This is the site I used when planning my wanders among
various currencies - http://www.xe.com/ict/

Usig that, these show up as near parity when I compare with
the AU$:

0.95 CAD Canada Dollars
1.00 CHF Switzerland Francs
1.00 AUD Australia Dollars
1.06 TND Tunisia Dinars
1.12 TRY Turkey New Lira
97 JPY Japan Yen

The AU$ has improved significantly since my trip; I would
have preferred that to happen then:-)

Cheers, Alan, Australia
