Default Vacouver Skytrain Canada line

Has anyone here seen the plans for the new "Canada Line" (previously
known as the RAV line)? Doesn't look too promising (IMO) for air
travellers as it looks like it's just a mass transit line (like the
current Skytrain) that just happens to stop by the airport, unlike (for
example) the Airport Express line in Hong Kong built specifically for
air travellers with in-town check in, large train cars with lots of
luggage space, etc.

Chek Lap Kok is built away from the city and requires a high speed
special line, and it's expensive compared to in town subway. Vancouver
airport is not that far from the city. An expensive high speed line is
a waste.

Actually you're not totally correct. For the most part the Hong Kong line
shares its route with regular mass transit services. It has dedicated fast
airport trains which run express from downtown to the airport, at a
considerably higher cost. Similarly the London Airports services (such as
Heathrow Express, Gatwick Express) share a good deal of their tracks with
regular commuter and long distance trains.
