Oh, that's easy. It's a matter of:

1. What kind of drink you like
2. Where in Spain you will be
3. Personal opinion

I assume you're asking about alcoholic drinks.

If you like red wine, then Rioja is excellent. There are anise-based
liqueurs including the fiery machaquito. Many of the trendly bars whip up
some lethal cocktails, if that's your fancy. Sangria is primarily consumed
by tourists and is considered a summer drink. If you go to a Gallego bar,
there is something called a queimada made with orujo aguardiente. Of course
there is a dry sherry from Jerez called fino and another one from Sanlucar
called manzanilla (that's also the name for camomile tea, so make sure it's
clear which you are ordering). There is a sweet sherry made from Malaga
grapes, brandy and much more.

The drink most widely consumed in Spain is beer, though it used to be wine.

That's really sad, since they've some really fantastic and inexpensive wines
there but the beer is dull, boring and almost flavourless.
