Default Resort in South East Asia

Hello

Shangrila might be the only 5 star resort in the Philippines but there are
many nice resorts not 5 star.

Here is a video of a nice place on Bohol taken at easter time that has
several swimming pools, tennis courts, multiple bars and restaurants and is
only about usd $80 per night for the presidential suite which has a
jacuzuzi. A flyer at the end of the video details the room costs and
facilities available:

If you stay at Shangrila on Mactan Island and don't take time to look
around, you will miss out on many things. Here are some videos of things in
Cebu City near Mactan Island:
Go shopping at some of the big malls. Here is a small part of SM Mall:
http://www.cebutours.com/wmv/smmall.wmv (hi quality 14.1mb)
Visit historical sites. Here is Fort San Pedro, original site of Spanish
occupation in the Philippines:

Go to the Top, a lookout which overlooks Mandaue City, Cebu City, Talisay
City and Mactan Island:

If you are in Cebu in January you can see the Sinulog procession and take
part in other activities:

If you want small versions of any of the above videos. Please go here and
look for the videos marked small:

commercial purpose.

I would love to visit a resort in South East Asia.
Need to be 5-star deluxe and very relaxing.
Has enough facilities, restaurants and pastimes to do within the resort

that
I will not need to worry about finding things to do.
Prefer something luxurious.
I would like to go to Philippines, Sabah, Indonesia or Pacific. Not

Thailand
Any recommendations please ?

This is the only 5 star resort in the Philipines:

http://www.travelsmart.net/ph/resorts/Cebu/Shangri-la's/

But the Philipines is not considered South East Asia.

Is this the sort of place that's awash in kissy-face honeymooners, or do
real people go there?

If you find that sort of question necessary, I suspect that it would be
too upmarket for you.
