Default Hotel in Bangkok

Hi all,
Going to Bangkok for a few days in early January and looking for a good
hotel with a GOOD pool. Any ideas which hotels with good location have
the best pools?

Cheers,
Kristoffer

Area: Central to markets,shopping etc
Price: Max USD 150/night
Good pool = nice setting, good possibility for sunbathing, not many
noisy kids :-)

The Pathumwan Princess, excellent hotel:- part of the Mah Boon Khrong
shopping centre, very central to Siam Square, Gaysorn Plaza, Discovery
Centre, World Trade Centre Shopping Mall , Pratuu Naam markets, Walk
through the MBK Centre directly to the Skytrain Station, this will take you
straight to Suan Jatujak weekend market. Silom Rd shopping precinct, Patpong
Night Market, The Emporium Shopping Mall in Sukhumvit Rd. Central and
Robinson's department stores etc etc. At Sukhumvit or Silom Skytrain
stations you can transfer directly to the new underground train system
which will take you close to Chinatown with its restaurants, markets and
gold shops, it also passes close to the Night Bazaar on the corner of
Wireless and Rama 4 rds.

Euhm, it's hard to sunbath in the smog of Bangkok :-)

I liked the pool of the Baiyoke Sky Hotel (Baiyoke 2 Tower) which is on
the 20th floor. The hotel itself is also very nice and clean.
