Accomodation in Southern Africa? - I start on August 1, 2004

Hi,

I am going to travel around 2 months in Southern Africa - Mozambique,
Malawi, Zambia, Botswana, maybe Namibia and South Africa (mostly
alone).

Up to now I have difficulties in finding cheap accomodation in all of
these places. The most difficult country is Mozambique - the first on
my list.

If any of you has any idea where to camp (I will have a tent with me)
or where are churches, organisations, associations, goodwill people
that would like to help, charities etc - PLEASE let me know. I am
student being happy to afford the flight ticket and the rest will
happen low budget. That is why I take my tent but as it is the first
time in Africa I would at least prefer staying in an official camping
or in somebodys "garden", house, church...

I will leave Germany in two weeks and I still have hardly information
on accomodation in Mozambique. Thus if you have any information,
please let me know.
