Just stayed in the downtown YMCA for $60 American.
Great location just off Star Line ferry.

The site I have found to be the best is www.asiatravel.com and the
second best is www.asia-hotels.com.

I would like to know if there is any reliable internet site or sites
to book hotels in Hong Kong, that provide REAL discounts.

Most of the sites that came up doing a search do not really get you
any good rates. You are better off if you call the hotels directly.

If you know about any good site please let me know. Thanks!!

Just recently I found prices for a couple of downtown 3*** hotels by an
internet agent being less than 50 dollars.

In that case $60 for the Y beats your 3 stars for $50 hands down.
