Grocers in NYC
Probably a very silly question. I am renting an apartment for a few
nights in W 46th Street and have been trying to find the nearest grocer. Any ideas where the nearest is?

You won't have a problem finding several. Both small corner stores and larger supermarkets. You didn't say where on W 46, the the best place to look is 9th Avenue. A general solution: if you go to Switchboard.com, you can search for businesses by distance. I've used it before to find the closest hotel to a certain location, but you can use it to search for the closest grocery store, dry cleaner, whatever.
