London budget restaurants, pubs
Any suggestions for budget restaurants in London - breakfast near County
Hall or dinner near there? Dinner near Paddington or in Bayswater? Pubs serving meals near the main museums and galleries (Tate British, V&A, etc.)? Don't have to be gourmet, trendy or "special occasion" restaurants but casual places that offer good value for money. Thanks. Frances Toronto, Canada |

London budget restaurants, pubs
"The Wests" wrote in message ... Any suggestions for budget restaurants in London - breakfast near County Hall or dinner near there? Try places around Waterloo station, or walk across river and up Whitehall to Trafalgar Square/Charing Cross area. Dinner near Paddington or in Bayswater? I ate tonight in the Mad Bishop and Bear (pub in Paddington Station). There is also a sushi bar in the station. Plenty of cheaap places nearby. Pubs serving meals near the main museums and galleries (Tate British, V&A, etc.)? V & A is near several reasonable places in the South Kensington area. I sometimes eat at Pierino's pizza place. Tate is a bit more "out of the way" for eating. Perhaps head for Victoria. Alan Harrison |

London budget restaurants, pubs
In article , The
Wests writes Any suggestions for budget restaurants in London - breakfast near County Hall or dinner near there? There are several restaurants to choose from along The Cut near Waterloo station, and also behind the front of the City Hall. Down river you might like the views from the Oxo Tower restaurant or the Seventh Floor Cafe in the Tate Modern. There is also a large Thai restaurant at Hayes Galleria and a gourmet pizza place at Gabriel's Wharf. Dinner near Paddington or in Bayswater? I like Al San Vincenze in Connaught Street. Queensway has lots of restaurants, including Royal China which a friend recommends. Pubs serving meals near the main museums and galleries (Tate British, V&A, etc.)? Nothing specific to those areas, but you could have a look at my homepage, URL below. -- congokid Eating out in London? Read my tips... http://congokid.com |
