We just came back from Copper Canyon
My wife and I have been salivating for years for an opportunity to travel
the Copper Canyon train to see the wonders of nature in rock and canyons. But our heart melted as we met the Tarahumaras and learned about their ancient culture. I figure the most significant event to ever happen to these stone age people was the advent of agriculture 'sold' to them by the traveling sales rep of the first Olmecas some 6,000 years ago. Unbelievable! Here's my amateur presentation done on Google.doc - no need to open any document nor to register. Just hit the view presentation and be very patient since I have loaded way too many pictures. http://docs.google.com/Presentation?...&invite=nzkhjr I'd be happy to share what I learned - email me! |
