The Halifax Harbour Stink

Just got back from the waterfront in Halifax Nova Scotia , man does it
stink . They have problem with the sewage treatment plant there (which
is located in the downtown area there ) . I cannot even imagine how
the tall ship crews are going to stand the smell there when they come
in July . Whoever plan where put this sewage treatment location sure
put in the wrong spot . The outlet is right next to the Casino
Incredible . Environment Canada is on the case .

It's terribly unfortunate your visit had to be marred by something that in modern cities is usually considered standard operating procedure to be able to have a properly functioning sewage system. I only hope this doesn't completely sour your desire to see Halifax. I suspect the fact the outlet is next to the Casino has a lot to do with the age of the city and the way it was originally built but that aside, although a Western Canadian myself, I'm a huge fan of Halifax and Nova Scotia in general. If you ever have an opportunity to head back there, give it another try. It would be worth it.
