To clarify, California is NOT los Angeles. There's a hell of a
lot of state there, and a lot of it is very different from the
Los Angeles basin.

Not to mention that what a lot of people call "Los Angeles" isn't
Los Angeles at all.

The article I was replying to was talking about LA drivers.

If I meant all of california, I would have said "the standard CA lane change".

Would you signal before or after the lane change?
Is it one of the cities where you are better off not to signal because if someone sees you
trying to move over they move in to prevent it?



Actually LA is one of the better areas for driver courtesy & skill. I
suspect that it is a combination of local laws and a survival factor.
