Well, just in case the poster is asking a legitimate question, some
peoples morality doesn't allow them to deal with those who fool around and to each their own. I haven't seen the posts saying George is cruising with someone other then his wife but I don't read everything here. George is an unbelievably honest TA. My 1st cruise he recommended me to another TA because he couldn't beat her price for that certain cruise (he got her price from her, I didn't try bartering them), then George got us a deal that knocked everyone else out for my familys cruise in December to celebrate our parents 50th anniversary. George sets up Group cruises, meaning you usually get a better rate since so many people are going and then he accompanies them and host parties and get togethers and because of his presence his customers usually get a little extra treatment from the cruise. It's not what your mind allowed to you to think of it, from what I understand George gets his own cabin and it's like any group of friends who decide to go on a vacation together because George has many, many friends. For me even if it was like that dirty little thought your mind allowed in it wouldn't matter because I do believe to each their own but I wanted to make sure you knew that George is not only a great TA and friend to all he meets but a dang honest TA also. I am considering calling Countryside Travel for help with a cruise. I am somewhat concerned with the posts about the owner's cruising with someone other than his wife. If someone could simply post that those items are a total falsehood, I would feel better. Or am I being concerned with something that I shouldn't worry about anyway? I have been lurking here for a while and don't understand all the negativity I read but perhaps this will be a chance to wipe some away. I am well aware of the kooks that frequent the internet and this may be another example. Thank you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This message was posted via one or more anonymous remailing services. Hey,
Everyone knows George is a good travel agent and this is a Travel Board, not a morality board. This matter is private and needs not be posted all over the web and back, even if it wasn't true or false? Bill Clinton was president and messed around, along with Kennedy and a bunch of other democrats, and a lot of people would buy cruises from them if they were now in the travel business even if they knew back then what they were up to--and a lot of folks did. Probably more people would buy cruises from Bill C or JFK than George. So if it didn't stop them from being president, why would you question buying criuses from 'ol George. What does his personal and private matters have to do with this here RTC board and whether one should book travel with him or not? He never rips anyone off and is never rude, not like a lot posters here. 'ol Freddyb David G.
