No, but I did find a reference (in L.A. Times) to the bad roads
the "Driving Chile: November 23, 2005
(South of La Serena, following an unmarked, wobbly dirt road west from
Ruta Cinco, the author finds a maritime cactus garden ending in cliffs
plunging into the Pacific.)"

Haven't you left yet, Wayne? We're on our way tomorrow!

"We'll take the train
You take a boat
I'll take a plane
You ride the goat
Oh, we don't care, we'll either walk or climb
But we'll get there and we're gonna have a happy time

Cuanto le gusta, le gusta, le gusta (etc.) Cuanto le gusta, le
gusta...."

Well, not quite the same thing. I left Saturday. I came close to being in
the bus that crashed. The van was going north to Choro.

NGC featured a program several months ago about the most four dangerous
roads in the world. I think one was in Bolivia that carried traffic between
two important cities. It ran high in the Andes. It was narrow and the road
regularly fell away to 2000 to 4000 (maybe more) feet. Another was in
Australia. Straight as an arrow for many thousands of miles. People would
lose their concentration. The third was in the US east of LA somewhere. It
was noted for the ups and downs that caused many people to try to pass
unsafely. I think it's being rebuilt now. I don't recall the fourth.
