Any specialists on Bryce on this forum?

We will be spending 2 full days

What

I'm not but I can tell you what I would do if I were you...

Wake up early. Two reasons for that. Firts you can enjoy the sunrise. Second
you'll have time to spend in the park even if the evening should be rainy
(as often happens in that period).
Bryce is a park that gives much to the first time tourist by its view
points. Browse them all. If your kids are willing to walk there are some
very nice hikes. The Navajo Loop is surely my favourite hike. It's about 1.5
miles and you'll see the amazing Wall Street and the Thor's Hammer from
near. If you want you can combine this Loop with the Queens Garden Loop and
have a combination of these two hikes (2.9 miles for the combination). The
second day you could go with some other hike. The Peekaboo Loop is nice and
less crowded than the Navajo Loop.
A personal advice: try to follow some of the Rangers activities. In Bryce
there is an amazing interpretative ranger, called Kevin Poe. He's a stand up
comic, don't miss his talks and give a look at the other activities. Last
year I enjoyed a "The sky of Bryce" program where we could see a wonderful
gleaming sky by a telescope.
Last but not least...children will surely enjoy the daily rodeo righ in
front of the Ruby's Inn.

Ciao, Giulio
