Some people win multiple lotteries.
What's your point?

Also, your lack of experience with these is showing,...

Ha-ha..! I've been traveling with equipment in my profession for going on 35
years. I've been in and out of perhaps 40 countries with it. I'm on at
least one 5,000 mile round trip per month.

I've lost more frequent flier miles due to non-use than most people ever earn
in total.

None of which shows any experience with these specific products.

You can get more with a kind word and a 2x4 than just a kind word.

I thought it was obvious. Checking electronics as baggage is relatively
safe.

Larger electronics, probably. Your average baggage checker probably has
no way to sell that gear, and odds are decent they'd be caught.

Small, easy to fence electronics are another matter completely.

Well, I'll concede that point if the concern is mainly theft, as opposed
to damage.

Damage is a matter of proper packing, which I'd put in the hands of the
passenger.

Which airline FF programs dispose of miles of active members?

Should you use the mailblocks package and expect a response from me,
you should preauthorize the dissensoftware.com domain.

I very rarely bother responding to challenge/response systems,
especially those from irresponsible companies.

LH does if you don't make enough trips to stay 'silver'.
But as that now requires about 20 round trips, it is possible
to be what I would consider to be an activer member and
lose 'expired' miles.
