From the diaries of a stay in Québec 2004

adventurer and baker in Kamouraska Village, Québec. Stories

The pig

Saint Pascal. Strayer saw a crowd. He forced his way through. In the
midst of the crowd stood a barrel, which was orbited by a squeaking
pig, which was pursued by a man.
"What is the matter? Why nobody helps him?", Strayer called asking
into the standing around crowd. Together it would not be very
difficult to catch the run away sow.
Strayer seized the barrel. The man stops. Between the two guys was now
the pig, and to the left it could not evade, because humans stood
there. Strayer jumped forward. When the pig wanted to out-shear
suddenly to the right, he put fast the barrel over the scared animal
and set themselves on it.
"Well loosely, on what you wait? Get the pig now!"
All regarded him badly.
