Somebody caught it on film, it was a regular shaped tornado,
exceptional for Europe but anticipated by climatologists
because of global warming.

Tornado hits northeastern Spain

The storm struck the town of Mollet de Valles, near the northeastern city of
Barcelona, damaging building, roofs and gas lines .

A tornado hit northeastern Spain Thursday, tearing off roofs, uprooting
trees and damaging gas lines.

No injuries were reported as it didn't hit a populated area, police said.

The tornado, which was on the ground for 10 minutes, had winds estimated at
more than 100 kph (60 mph).

The storm struck the town of Mollet de Valles, near the northeastern city of
Barcelona, damaging building, roofs and gas lines.

On Wednesday, the Barcelona airport was also disrupted by a tornado, forcing
the cancellation of 42 flights. An additional 13 had to be diverted to other
nearby airports
