Default fiji honeymoon

Hello, planning honeymoon in fiji (or tahiti), July 9, 2005. Anyone
had any experiences there? Would love to hear some feedback! Most
important: privacy (not hotel style), great beaches, snorkeling (scuba
diving nice but not a must), probably all-inclusive, ROMANTIC, hiking.
Would like to keep price under $9,000, incl air from LA (which will
probably be $3,000 for both of us). Even $9,000 is on the high end,
but willing if awesome place. Like to go for 10 days but maybe only
can afford 7-8. Heard Tivua has bures for just 2 couples, don't know
if that is TOO isolated, maybe it wouldbe preferable to be on other
island that is close enough to visit other islands? Your input would
be greatly appreciated! Also, is Fiji safe and does anyone know about
turtle island? Thanks! Linda
