Does anyone know if the market is open every day?
I know that there are lots of people on the weekends as I have been there but I wondered if it was open on the other days. Harvey

Harvey No. Chatuchak (or Jatuchak) market is only open Saturdays and Sondays. But, depends on what you are looking for in Thailand, there are lots of other interesting markets in Bangkok. Harvey,
most of the shops are closed during the week, although the shops selling plants are open on Wednesdays, and some stores keep open on Thursday and Friday. Mondays and Tuesdays the place is dead.
