charging 40EU or about $60 if you do not check in on line for which they
charge 5Eu when you show up to check in at the airport.

I take it you mean Ryanair (the Irish airline)?

You now have to check in online *and* print your boarding pass. That costs
EUR5. Should you fail to do so you pay the higher fee at the airport.
I've not done it but I'm told you can check in much, much longer before the
flight than for legacy carriers (months ahead).

Some people have wondered about setting themselves up with a laptop and
printer at an airport, using wifi, to print passes for people at a cost less
than Ryanair change!

As was pointed out in the other thread, Molly's business plan is to make the
headline price as low as possible

He achieves this by making the add ones as expensive as he thinks the market
will bear.

Though IMHO he has gone beyond that that point with these new fees, which
fit into the category of extortionate
