Default Flying TOL-ORD AA, Aer Lingus to BHX via DUB, recheck bags at ORD?

Aer Lingus says they have a codeshare with American, the American Airlines
website says they don't. So will my daughter have to recheck her bags at
O'Hare, and whos baggage allowance/fees apply?
Thanks
Doug

it doesn't require a codeshare, just an interline and baggage agreement,
which AA and EI have, so your daughter should be able to check her bags
straight through at Toledo.

Coming back, depends on where she originates if she has to re-claim
anything, as there is pre-clearance at Shannon, so the arriving flight into
Chicago would be domestic; if she has to clear customs in Chicago on the way
back, she'll have to collect her bags and then re-check them right outside
of the customs area.

That's great, thanks. She's not going back anyway.
