hi, i'm from malaysia, and as far as i know, berjaya redang is fully
up and running. in fact i heard they are fully booked already. if you
like there's a nice short artice on redang and it's hotels/resorts,
including Laguna Redang Island Resort, in the following URL:

http://allmalaysia.dynalias.net/allm...sp?id=10000020

you can also contact them should you have any queries. very efficient
service and fast response.

Berjaya Redang is operational and
is on a its own beach called Teluk Dalam in Pulau Redang. Laguna is a
new gigantic resort operational last season located on the main beach of
Pasir Panjang. Quiet? Not likely. If you want peace and quiet, try
neighboring Pulau Perhentian. It is more relaxed and quiet in my
opinion. It is not to say that Redang is not beautiful, though.
