Default Amsterdam-Munich CityLine sleeper train

Hi,

I've done the amsterdam/munich overnight... not a bad trip.

as far as couchettes... well get one.

but you may or may not get a real 4 bunk couchette... they may give you
a regular 6 bunk and just not unfold 1 on each side!

4 per is first class... it will be less crowded... but you've got to buy
first class travel.

is this your ownly overnight planned? if you're considering several (say
amsteram/munich, munich/florence, florence/paris, paris/amsterdam) get a
5 trip flexiplass.

florence/paris we (party of 3) got a sleeping car with 3 bunks,
magazines, drinks, etc. on our flexipasses.

Looking to travel on the City NightLine Amsterdam-Munich sleeper
train, early June. I have no rail passes.

* The City NightLine web site is only in German, so I am having
trouble working out prices. What is the basic price, before adding on
sleeper supplements?

* I think I will book a couchette. 4-passenger is 29E, the 6-passenger
couchettes (19E) seem to be very cramped! Anyone spent a night in
these? Or maybe I should just book a normal reclining chair (9E) --
everyone will drift off to their sleeping compartment and I will have
space to stretch out..advice please on getting a good nights sleep.
