Default Cave tubing in Belize

htmlHello ~ My husband and I would like to highly recommend doing this
trip with Reggie. You will find him at this address ~ RegTours LTD
Address:http://www.regtour.com/
pReggie is not only very entertaining but knows what he is doing!
pWe had so much fun with him and his team last week during our one day
stop over in Belize, cruising on HAL's Veendam. Besides being a great
excursion, we were not required to wear life jackets (unless one
couldn't swim) unlike the tours organised by the cruise lines. It looked
so uncomfortable to be sitting in an inner tube and also to wade through
the water from one side of the river to the other whilst wearing one and
carrying a tube at the same time! pThis trip was so much fun ~ so go
with Reggie!

Did you pay in advance for this tour or take your chances when on shore?

I too have gone with Reggie- actually had a private tour. We paid when we
got there but reservations were necessary. I believe he now requires a
depost??? Go to his page - email him for a direct answer.

We pre- booked with Reggie online which is advisable, I think, although
he did take some walk ons I noticed. His transportation is a school bus
which was pretty full on the day that we went. He prefers to be paid
with cash ($65) but he will accept credit cards without a problem.
Hope that you have as much fun as we did.

Hi...One question concerning Reggie...how long does it take for him to get
back to you?? I emailed him 2 weeks ago to make reservations for later in
the month and haven't heard back from him.... I'm getting worried... Is
this normal?
Thanks,
Jenny

He should get back to you right away. You may want to email him
again. I hope you enjoy the Cave Tubing, it was my favorite excursion.

Some info please? Is the water really cold? Is it comfortable? What about
for two people in their sixties? We swim but are hardly olympic quality - we
can keep above water, but we are not in the best of shape. Is this a wise
thing for us to do?

Reply on the newsgroup or e-mail me personally. Thanks...

The water temperature was around 78 degrees, it was comfortable for
me. When you float in the inner tube, only your backside gets wet, the
rest of you stays fairly dry. Your legs get wet when you get in and
out of the inner tube.

The most difficult part of this excursion, IMO, was the walk to the
water. You walk along a trail that is covered with river rocks much
of the way. After you get to the river, you float in the inner tube.
It was no problem for me. BTW, if you have any problems, Reggie has a
few employees there to help you along.

Becca -----would love to do it again...

Quite risky, my wife and I saw several bull sharks! Not for us!
